How did it start?
In 2013, while working in the signage industry, Shaya Attaei started ARIA Signs & Design with his brother Shahrouz Attaei. They realized they could offer better products at a significantly lower cost and in less time. With both of them having backgrounds in graphic design and fabrication, they sought to provide high quality products with a low overhead for their clients. At the time, Shaya was attending the University of Houston for his Master’s in Architecture, which helped him create an outstanding level of quality at every stage of design, putting him above the competition.
After graduating with his Master’s Degree in 2015, he had an enormous advantage over the other Houston based signage companies. With his collective knowledge in graphic design and architecture, this enabled him to provide clients with 3D renders along with day and night mock-ups of their custom signage already on the client’s building. This allows each client to visualize exactly what the end product would be before the fabrication process has started. With this lead he gained the confidence to approach larger projects and quickly expand ARIA’s clientele. Ever since then, Shaya and Shahrouz have been focused on growing ARIA Signs & Design.
