UH alumni started one of the fastest growing companies in Houston.
Shaya Attaei started Aria Signs in 2013 with his brother Shaw. At that time, they were working in the signage industry. However, they realized they could deliver better products at lower cost. Both having graphic design background and vast experiences in fabrication resulted in high-quality products and low overhead. At the same time, Shaya was in Architecture school, which helped him connect with many architects and obtain many projects through their referral. Being an architect, he had the advantage over other signage companies enabling him to provide clients with 3D drawings along with day and night mock-ups of the signage on client’s buildings before fabricating the signs.
This advantage gave him the confidence to approach larger projects and quickly expand their clientele. In 2015, Shaya graduated with a Master degree in Architecture and since then he is focusing on growing Aria Signs.
