Electric Feel Good

Carmack Concepts (the team behind The Dogwood bar in Houston, Austin and a soon-to-open outpost in Nashville, Tennessee) launched Tuesday, September 10th opening a two-story, 11,000-square-foot bar. This Midtown bar offers a great time any Friday night and fine cuisine during the day. Midtown’s newest party spot gives off some seriously retro vibes. If Electric FeelGood’s influences weren’t obvious from the Pong arcade game by the stairwell or the Reading Rainbow-inspired “Feelin Fckn Good” neon on the second floor, its weekend afternoon menu is dubbed “Saved by the Brunch.” They are fully stocked with dance floors, bar tops, lounge seating, games with an old school flair, and a commercial kitchen. And let’s not let the literal indoor LED-lined playground slide slip by unnoticed. The short trip down memory lane comes with a bonus — it’s set against a view of Houston’s skyline.

No matter when you visit our variety of signage will be there to add to your experience. Since every bar needs a good Instagram spot or two, designer Stacy Whitworth worked to create some great moments inside and outside. With three signs outside the owners wanted to go with more of an old-school feel by using neon glass in multiple different colors. This draws your eye to the outside of the building while seeing the Houston skyline in the distance. Now the interior signage is where the fun part comes in the form of LED flex lighting. This new technology allows us to make signage that completely mimics neon glass with less maintenance and consistent lighting throughout. One of the signs stretches across two stories with a total height of 27’ allowing you to experience this sign from the outside and inside. With this same technology, we also made some cool “floating” phrases that you can catch around the lounge areas. We also extended our portfolio and did some very exciting vinyl prints in the restroom vestibules. We hope that you get to stop by and enjoy the high that comes with this amazing venue.
